Cr15Ni60

Cr15Ni60 is one of existing nichrome products. With respect to its property, it is of excellent hot strength, good oxidation properties and good formability. In addition, it has has good corrosion resistance.

It is used used as electric heating element material in domestic appliances and furnace applications up to high temperatures. It can be used at operating temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F). Typical applications for Cr15Ni60 are in metal sheathed tubular elements used in hot plates, grills, toaster ovens, storage heaters, etc and as suspended coils in air heaters used in clothes dryers, fan heaters, hand dryers.

Ni-Cr materials are widely used in industrial electric furnaces, household appliances and far-infrared devices because of their high temperature strength and strong plasticity.
